- Statewide projects focused on representing, educating, and advocating for low-income taxpayers in Indiana

- ILS is a not-for-profit law firm providing free legal services to eligible clients in civil cases through 8 branch offices
- Funded by various sources including Legal Services Corporation, Indiana Civil Legal Aid Fund, and United Ways

- Location: Internship opportunities available at all 8 ILS offices
- Projects addressing the needs of specific client communities, including seniors, immigrants, and the LGBTQ community
- Compensation: $5400 for a 300-hour commitment, paid at a rate of $18.00 per hour
- Job summary: Full-time internship for 10 weeks, offering experience in poverty law and access to justice
- Responsibilities include research and writing, client interaction, drafting pleadings, attending court proceedings, and more
- Qualifications: Enrolled in or recent graduate of law school, excellent communication skills, willingness to learn, ability to work as a team member
- Optional qualifications include completion of trial practice and professional ethics courses and certified legal intern status
