Legal Intern (Year-Round) - San Diego, California
General Atomics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic Legal Department. This is a year-round internship opportunity for an undergraduate student who is interested in gaining practical experience in the legal field. The successful candidate will provide support to the legal department, perform administrative tasks, maintain corporate files, and conduct legal research. This is a part-time, hourly position with a salary range of $38,230-$56,838.

Responsibilities: - Participate in supervised practical training and support legal assistants - Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and preparing binders - Maintain corporate files and perform legal research - Utilize communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees - Utilize MS Office Suite and other computer-based applications - Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Qualifications: - Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at a recognized college or university - Strongly preferred: undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above or LSAT score of 165 or above - Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts - Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills - Advanced MS Office Suite and computer skills - Ability to work independently or in a team environment
