Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload and assist the attorney in developing personal injury settlements - Prepare documents and correspondence as needed - Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers - Negotiate case settlements and reductions of outstanding medical balances - Maintain organized case files and prepare comprehensive demands - Work with multiple coworkers and present case synopsis to attorneys - Manage cases from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of legal or insurance experience - Knowledge and understanding of Florida Insurance Laws - Negotiating skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Intermediate to advanced computer skills
