Mitchell Williams Law Firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in their daily activities, contributing to the smooth functioning of legal operations within our vibrant and inclusive work culture.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of legal documents for attorneys. Perform clerical duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining schedules. Transcribe dictation and revise final correspondence. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job. Handle monthly proforma review and edits. Organize and maintain files. Schedule meetings and conference rooms. Provide temporary clerical support for other attorneys. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent. 2 years of legal experience. Excellent spelling and grammar skills. Proficient in legal research tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational ability with attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner. Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must meet health regulations and pass drug test and physical exam if required. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
