Coats & Bennett, PLLC, a leading law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Job Title: Legal Assistant
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Experience: Previous experience as a Legal Assistant preferred
Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals • Prepare legal documents and correspondence • Schedule appointments and manage calendars • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files • Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters • Assist with billing and timekeeping • Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and paralegals
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant preferred • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
