Job Title: Legal Assistant II - Litigation
Experience Information: 1-3 years of experience in a data entry or legal assistant role, along with experience in a litigation based role (preferred).
Position Summary: The LOGS Legal Group LLP is seeking a Legal Assistant II to join our Litigation team. This is a remote, full-time position with a hybrid/remote location opportunity. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional work to the financial institutions we represent in a wide variety of creditor rights’ matters. Our ideal candidate is highly focused on results, understands the value of reputation, works well in a team environment, and has a drive to innovate.
Responsibilities: - Update internal and external systems within expected timeframes - Organize legal documentation - Complete assigned work in designated timeframes - Grasp and retain basic legal concepts and terminology - Assist with preparing required items for court appearances - Review incoming documents and communicate professionally through various platforms - Complete assigned trainings in the Firm LMS - Other duties as assigned
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years of experience in a data entry or legal assistant role - Experience in a litigation based role (preferred) - Ability to work in a fast-paced and technology driven environment - Strong time-management skills - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
