Role Overview: - We are seeking a Legal Assistant with 2 years of experience to support our growing team in our Miami office. - Preferred background in insurance defense and first party property. - Must have knowledge of Florida court procedures and be familiar with e-service and e-filing.
Requirements: - Civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience. - Experience managing attorney calendars and drafting legal documents. - Working knowledge of discovery process and billing is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Your Day-to-Day: - Managing attorney calendars and scheduling. - Drafting legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports. - Working with the discovery process and billing. - Competency and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
