JC Law Firm is currently seeking law students for their summer and full-time clerk positions. With a focus on recruiting while still in law school, JC Law offers approximately 15 students a year the opportunity to work part-time during school or over the summer. These clerk positions are a stepping stone towards becoming a full-time lawyer with JC Law.
The firm's structure and systems are designed to train and mold new clerks into successful lawyers. While JC Law does hire lawyers at various stages of their career, they prioritize their farm system of recruiting while students are still in law school. In order to qualify for a clerkship, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be part of a Law Review Association or equivalent program, rank in the top 25% of their class, have excellent qualifications in an in-person interview, and possess strong writing and organizational skills.
Upon being recruited by JC Law, most students will receive an offer for an associate position. This offers the student peace of mind, knowing they are lined up with one of the best law firms that will provide them with great opportunities. The student may continue to complete their law school education while also working as a clerk for JC Law, typically for 5-20 hours per week. After graduation, they may continue to clerk for the firm until they take the bar exam. Once the exam is completed, they will begin working full-time as an Admin Associate Attorney at JC Law.
