The Circuit Court for Baltimore City is seeking two (2) law clerks to work with Magistrates Sara D. Walsh, Kristin R. Hosseinzadeh, and Michael L. Bouyea in the Civil Division. The positions are open until filled and will run through August 2025. The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate of an accredited law school.
The Civil Magistrates handle a variety of cases including temporary restraining orders, mechanic's liens, interpleaders, Attorney General subpoenas, and more. The responsibilities of the law clerks include reviewing motions, conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda, and preparing for hearings. The candidate must have proven academic success and be able to handle a high volume of work under pressure.
Qualifications: - J.D. degree from an accredited law school - Bar admission not required
Compensation: - Full-time permanent position with benefits - Annual salary of $48,004.00
