The Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy (DPA) is seeking a Law Clerk to support the criminal defense team at the Glasgow Trial Office. DPA is a nationally recognized public defender system with a strong training and education program. Our mission is to ensure fair and just results for our clients while protecting their individual liberties.
Responsibilities: - Provide support to attorneys by conducting legal research and writing - Interview clients - Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements: - Completion of 24 semester hours at an American Bar Association accredited law school - No experience, training, or skills required
Working Conditions: - Primarily office setting with minimal travel required
Probationary Period: - 12 months
