The New Mexico Judicial Branch is seeking qualified candidates for two (2) full-time, at-will Law Clerk 1 positions as part of the Rural Justice Initiative Clerkship Program. These positions offer a unique opportunity to work closely with district court judges, gain hands-on experience, and engage with the local legal community.
Key Responsibilities: - Researching and analyzing legal cases - Drafting legal documents and opinions - Assisting with court programs and self-represented litigants - Participating in special projects and training
Qualifications: - Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school - One (1) year of legal research and writing experience - Knowledge of legal terminology, research methods, and court operations - Strong writing and analytical skills
