Law Firm Seeking Experienced Labor and Employment Paralegal

Join Our Employment Defense Practice Group
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced paralegal to join our employment defense practice group. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in all areas of employment law, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour individual and class action claims. Previous experience with class action litigation is strongly preferred.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
3 years of experience in employment law. Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in class action litigation, including case merits, class certifications, and damages assessment. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, such as answers to class action and PAGA complaints, declarations, case management statements, stipulations, and proposed orders. Ability to organize and coordinate document productions, including bates-stamping, redaction, duplication, and indexing. Aptitude for reviewing and summarizing complex legal documents, contracts, financial records, and employment agreements. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain organized case files, ensuring compliance with court requirements and deadlines. Experience with Excel and other software tools for data analysis and preparation of calculations for wage and hour audits and litigation-related exposure or damage models. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients via video conference, email, and phone. Familiarity with researching employment laws, regulations, and caselaw on Westlaw. Paralegal certification or a bachelor's degree with coursework or experience related to employment law, class action law, and litigation. Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.
