Duane Morris LLP is seeking a highly motivated mid to senior level associate to join our dynamic Labor and Employment group in California. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation and a strong desire for trial work.
Responsibilities:
- Defending wage and hour claims, including wage and hour class action lawsuits - Transactional employment work, including drafting employment and severance agreements - Drafting EEOC position statements and DFEH responses - Conducting witness interviews and depositions - Counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance - Drafting workplace policies - Assisting clients with employment training programs
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation - California bar admission - Strong academic and writing credentials - Experience in traditional management labor relations is a plus
