The firm provides counsel to numerous public school districts and other public agencies throughout the state, covering all aspects of labor and employment law.

Job Title: Labor & Employment Attorney - Lateral
Experience Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing - 5 years of employment law experience, preferably in education law, public agency law, or related areas - Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies
Responsibilities: - Providing counsel on hiring and employment contracts, collective bargaining, grievances, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, layoffs, discipline, and dismissals - Representing clients in administrative hearings - Conducting legal research and writing legal documents - Communicating with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in cases
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing - 5 years of employment law experience, preferably in education law, public agency law, or related areas - Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies
