Job Title: Labor & Employment Associate- 2-4 Years Experience
Job Summary: Greenberg Traurig, a top global law firm, is looking for a talented and driven Labor & Employment Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Florham Park, New Jersey. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and excellent benefits. As a member of our Labor & Employment Practice, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries across the country, in both litigation and counseling capacities.
Key Responsibilities: - Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other claims - Advise employers on compliance issues and provide guidance on leaves of absence, performance management, wage and hour laws, and terminations - Draft personnel policies and employment agreements - Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs - Collaborate with a team of attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to clients - Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations in the labor and employment field
Requirements: - 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role - Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations - Excellent academic performance in law school - Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills - Ability to take ownership of work and career - Good standing with the NJ State Bar, NY admission preferred
