The Law Firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate to join their team in Baltimore, Maryland. The Associate will primarily work in the growing low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) practice and will have significant exposure and responsibility in closing LIHTC transactions on behalf of a leading national syndicator and other clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Partners, Associates, and Paralegals in a supportive and close-knit group to close LIHTC transactions - Represent tax credit syndicators, investors, and/or developers in LIHTC deals - Utilize general tax background (LLM or tax concentration) to assist in transactions (beneficial, but not required) - Demonstrate motivation and energy as a self-starter - Communicate effectively with clients, developers, and other parties involved in transactions through written and oral communication
Requirements:
