LEGAL CASE MANAGER
Are you organized, goal-oriented, and fluent in Spanish? Do you have a positive outlook on life and a desire to make a difference in people's lives? If so, then we want you to join our team at the Tijerina legal group as a Legal Case Manager. This challenging and rewarding career will require you to have excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and problem solve. As a Case Manager, you will guide our clients through their case and be entrusted with improving their lives after an injury-causing event.
We are looking for someone who is a quick study and can understand the process of helping someone after a car crash or other injury. You must also have excellent follow-up skills and become familiar with all aspects of dealing with a car crash claim. In addition, you must have a good understanding of medical terms and be able to talk about injuries with your co-workers and attorneys.
As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing case data, speaking with clients, and working closely with other staff members and providers. You must also be able to manage upset and demanding clients with care and patience, while also being a team player and working well with others.
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree, good writing and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and other computer programs. Fluency in Spanish is also required. Additionally, you must have a clean criminal and driving record, reliable transportation, and valid personal auto liability insurance.
Previous experience at a personal injury law firm and familiarity with the basics of a case process is a plus, but not required. H2: Compensation - Negotiable based on experience - Starting gross compensation opportunity ranges from $31,200 to $60,000 for a Legal Case Manager - Base hourly rate varies based on experience and competency, starting at $15.00 per hour - Health benefits, bonus earnings opportunity, and other benefits included - Bonus earnings opportunity allows for significant increase in base salary after first year of employment
