ROLE:JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST- PAYMENTS & CARDS, BUSINESS CHANGE
LOCATION:Our teams are currently working remotely and we expect this to continue for some time in light of the present circumstances. Post pandemic, we will have a hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite and remote working
This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.
PAYMENTS & CARDS IN AIB:
Payments & Cards are responsible for managing the Credit and Debit Card Issuing business for AIB Bank RoI and AIB UK and for the domestic and international payments in AIB Bank RoI. The business unit has ownership for the delivery of a reliable, resilient, and consistent service for consumer and business customers across all channels. We are responsible for a critical element of the bank's customer proposition and operate in a market that is increasingly innovative, technologically based, and competitive.
A vacancy now exists for a Junior Business Analyst (Level 1) within our Business Change function. The Role requires a candidate who is passionate to learn about change management and driven to produce high quality and innovative products.
THE ROLE:
The candidate will be required to work with and report into the Change Manager. The candidate will assist the team with designing, testing and implementing new solutions.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:
*Support the team with engagements with various business stakeholders. *Attend workshops on requirements elicitation from discovery phase right through development to implementation. *Engage with various end users and business stakeholders and support the team to understand the impact of the change. *Carry out assigned tasks to assist with the delivery of the change. *Build and maintain strong working relationships with both technical and business colleagues. *Support Business Acceptance Testing to ensure that all changes are delivered to the highest quality.
YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN/HAVE:
*An individual who has obtained a recognised third level qualification. *Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Business Analysis & Problem solving skills. *Ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, management staff and external stakeholders. *An understanding of and interest in new payment technologies and trends in the payments and channel space.
