Job Description: - The IP Docketing Specialist at our law firm will be responsible for maintaining worldwide patent protection for assigned client portfolios. - This position reports to the Senior IP Administrator and requires a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe is required, while a college or business school degree is preferred. - Experience with PATTSY WAVE docketing system and trademark docketing is a plus. - The IP Docketing Specialist will work closely with clients, in-house attorneys, foreign associates, and annuity services to ensure accurate and timely docketing. - This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Kansas City, MO.
Essential Functions: - Manage PATTSY WAVE docketing system for both foreign and domestic patents - Review and process incoming and outgoing communications from various parties - Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to meet deadlines - Perform quality assurance reviews of completed assignments - Process instructions for annuity fee payments and foreign deadlines - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rule and procedure changes - Generate reports from PATTSY WAVE and Global IP Estimator - Other duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Demands: - This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment. - The employee will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with occasional additional hours required to complete work. - Physical demands include talking and hearing, sitting, using hands and fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, and stooping. - The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
