The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is currently accepting applications for its internship program for Summer 2025. This is a great opportunity for students interested in the law to gain valuable experience and contribute to the public interest. The OAG is looking for highly motivated individuals with strong research and writing skills to join their team for this unpaid, volunteer position.
The OAG is the chief legal officer for civil matters in Connecticut, representing and advocating for the interests of the state and its citizens. The office also serves as legal counsel to all state agencies and works to ensure that state government acts within the letter and spirit of the law. This is a critical mission that aims to protect public resources and enhance the quality of life for all citizens, while safeguarding the rights of vulnerable individuals.
The internship program is open to graduate and law students, paralegal, undergraduate, and highly motivated high-school students. It is also possible for accepted applicants to arrange externships with their schools for course credit. Additionally, positions are available for work-study students with school stipends.
