Job Description:
- Responsible for representing clients in insurance defense cases, including preparation of legal documents, attendance at hearings and trials, and providing legal advice. - May also assist other attorneys and supervise their work on assigned cases. - Must have a law degree and be a member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located. - At least three years of experience as an attorney, including civil jury trial experience. - Must be able to handle cases of moderate to great complexity and/or exposure with minimal supervision. - Special skills required include public speaking and the ability to handle high case loads in confrontational situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Job duties may include carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds, hearing, seeing, standing, and walking. - Work is typically done in a climate-controlled office environment, with some exposure to outside environmental conditions and travel. - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor's degree.
