Seeking a 2-5 year associate with experience in insurance coverage litigation to join our thriving team at Clyde & Co. This position offers meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to work on complex, high value, and high profile cases for US and foreign insurers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings and briefs - Correspond with colleagues and clients - Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage recommendations - Conduct legal research using various databases - Draft interrogatories and document demands
Requirements:
- Excellent academic credentials - Admitted to practice in California, additional admissions a plus - Experience in insurance coverage litigation - Federal court experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills - Interpersonal skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks - Problem-solving skills
