Job Description:
- Provides legal advice and counsel on legal, risk, healthcare, and regulatory matters - Supports counsel leadership and other in-house attorneys - Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts - Develops and reviews policies and provides educational programs - Identifies and investigates risk issues and evaluates and negotiates claims - Interacts with outside counsel, consultants, and administrative staff - Maintains knowledge of current laws, regulations, and standards - Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations - Maintains and complies with Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct - Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws - Maintains a safe and ethical work environment - Physical and environmental demands: Light work, no exposure to blood or hazardous materials
