DeCosmo Law, a leading law firm specializing in immigration law, is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The Role:
- Prepare and file immigration benefits applications - Support removal proceedings litigation, including preparing applications for relief from removal - Handle U-Visa, T-Visa, Asylum Applications, and DACA filings - Assist attorneys with preparing immigration petitions and applications - Review and organize client documentation - Analyze and summarize case data for attorneys - Assist with determining case strategy - Maintain organized and legally compliant client files - Manage caseload of immigration matters - Draft correspondence and communicate with clients and administrative agencies - Translate documents and provide direct translations for clients - Review and analyze Request for Additional Evidence and draft responses - Perform special projects and other assignments as requested
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal - Fluent in Spanish - Strong knowledge of immigration laws and procedures - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
