The United Firm, a premier law firm in Bakersfield, CA, is currently seeking an admitted attorney with at least 1-4 years of immigration law experience for the position of Associate Immigration Attorney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team and further their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with our Sr. Associate Attorney, manage your own caseload, and have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced team of Immigration Attorneys and legal assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic solutions for clients - Represent individuals in non-detained and detained removal proceedings - Manage a caseload of diverse immigration applications - Conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers - Work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law - Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and develop necessary strategies - Prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony - Provide legal analysis for clients and determine potential case benefits - Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases
Qualifications:
- At least 1-4 years of immigration law experience - A team player with strong interpersonal skills - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred - Record of successfully managing legal cases - Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Legal Writing, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications - Familiarity with Case Management Software preferred
Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 USD per year
