Job Description: As a Healthcare Associate, you will join one of the largest and most established national healthcare and life sciences teams in the country. You will be responsible for providing legal solutions to clients in the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical and medical device companies, academic medical centers, and more. Your expertise in FDA regulatory compliance and experience in the life sciences industry will contribute to the firm's expanding services and client base.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice and solutions to clients in the healthcare industry - Collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers from across the country - Conduct research and provide insights on healthcare and life sciences issues - Represent clients in regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters - Advise on matters related to private equity, venture capital, and investment in healthcare - Mentor and train junior associates
Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience in a top 100 law firm setting - Experience in FDA regulatory compliance, including product development, approvals, labeling, inspections, recalls, and more - Knowledge of DSHEA, Food Drug and Cosmetics Act, and Federal Trade Commission Act - Additional experience in state Boards of Pharmacy regulations, FDA market denial orders, credit agreements, and IPOs in life sciences is a plus - Strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills - Illinois Bar membership is required
Salary Information: The salary for this position ranges from $295,000 to $370,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
