The law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with three to six years of experience in the Healthcare & Insurance Division in their Kansas City, Missouri office. Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in a law firm with health law experience, representing a health related regulatory agency, or in the healthcare industry - Regulatory and transactional experience advising healthcare providers, health plans or PBMs, medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers, or health information technology companies - Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or the ability to waive in to practice - Exceptional academic performance and excellent research, writing and analytical skills
Responsibilities: - Provide transactional and regulatory counsel to healthcare clients - Work with a diverse client base including healthcare providers, health plans, PBMs, medical device and pharmaceutical companies, and health information technology companies - Develop and grow a thriving health law practice - Stay up-to-date on healthcare laws and regulations
Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in a law firm with health law experience, representing a health related regulatory agency, or in the healthcare industry - Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or the ability to waive in to practice - Exceptional academic performance and excellent research, writing and analytical skills - Experience advising managed care plans is a plus
