The Role: As Head of Residential Conveyancing, you will: Lead and oversee a busy conveyancing team, ensuring efficiency and excellence in client service. Handle a varied and complex caseload, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold transactions, and transfers of equity. Provide strategic guidance on case management, risk assessment, and legal best practices. Drive business development and networking efforts, expanding the firm’s client base and service offerings. Mentor and manage a small team of solicitors, associates, and support staff, ensuring continued professional growth and high performance. Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the firm’s high standards of service. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential property law and Regulatory Compliance. A proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing a team. Experience handling complex and high-value property transactions. A commercially focused mindset, with a proactive approach to business development. Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to offer clear and strategic legal advice. Proficiency in case management systems and strong IT literacy Excellent long term prospects for successful candidate Salary according to experience circa £50-£55k Generous bonus scheme Some Hybrid working available
