The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is inclusive of bonuses and benefits.

Head of Intellectual Property - Lead and manage all aspects of intellectual property for a biotech/pharma company, including developing strategies, managing patent prosecution, and overseeing litigation.
Key Result Areas - Major duties and responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive patent and trademark strategies for the company's gene therapy platform and products. Manage a portfolio of patents and trademarks, including drafting and prosecuting applications and conducting due diligence. Monitor and analyze intellectual property trends and regulatory developments to adjust strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and protect valuable intellectual property assets. Anticipate and manage global intellectual property disputes, including litigation and post-grant proceedings. Provide training and education on intellectual property risk-mitigation measures. Review and advise on proposed publications and presentations. Build effective relationships with colleagues in legal, research, development, and business functions. Other duties as assigned, including budget management.
Education and Experience:
