Summary: Perform Human Resources (HR) functions and ensure that HR tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Work as part of a team in a centralized Human Resources department at the Corporate Office of a nationwide facilities management company supporting over 1,500 employees located throughout every major market in the U.S.
Essential Job Functions:
Conduct criminal background checks for all new hires. Ensure that all new hires successfully complete pre-employment drug screens. Create workflows for new hire candidates. Assist field personnel with completing new hire workflows. Process new hires. Manage employee garnishments. Maintain and update tax and validation tables in ADP. Coordinate new site set-ups. Maintain IST Suite HR functions. Provide quality control (QC) for payroll processing. Run payroll when primary payroll person is out of office. Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Assist field managers with HR related questions and situations. Conduct employee personnel investigations.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Provide back-up to HR Dept staff members as needed. Provide Reception Desk services as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have ADP Payroll experience. 2 or more years previous payroll and general HR experience required. PHR preferred.
Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Physical Requirements: On occasion, must be able to pack and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit and use computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Working Hours: Scheduled hours will be M-F 9am-6pm. Company hours are 9am-9pm Monday-Friday. Overtime is required as needed based on work load and can generally be worked prior to or after normal scheduled hours.
Compensation: Compensation is $15 per hour. Position is hourly, overtime eligible. Position is eligible for some bonus opportunity.
Location: Location is at our corporate office at 934 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 250, Atlanta, GA 30316. Office is located in Glenwood Park. Not on Marta line. Must have own, reliable transportation.
