The Washington, DC office of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a top AMLAW 50 firm, is seeking a highly experienced Government Contracts Attorney to join their nationally ranked Government Contracts practice group. This is a full-time position with a posted date of today and job requisition ID R0005584. The successful candidate will have between 7-12 years of government contracts experience in private practice, industry, and/or government, and will lead sophisticated and high-profile bid protest matters. The chosen candidate will also have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and well-rounded team environment.
As a member of the Government Contracts practice group, the Senior Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of complex and challenging matters related to government contracts. This includes leading bid protests before the GAO and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, as well as having a deep understanding of the FAR and DFARS. Additionally, the Senior Attorney will handle issues involving GSA Schedules, cybersecurity, prime and subcontractor negotiations, compliance counseling, M&A diligence, investigations, and claims. Strong writing skills are a must for this position.
The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of government contracts experience, with a proven ability to lead bid protests and a deep knowledge of FAR and DFARS. They should also have experience in handling issues related to GSA Schedules, cybersecurity, negotiations, compliance, and more. This position is only open to those with a JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one state.
