Job Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of action - Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions - Ensure all internal systems are updated with findings, documentation, and recommendations - Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements - Handle contested matters, including discovery and trials
Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong computer skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Effective communication through verbal and written correspondence - Ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and make recommendations - Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently
Education and Training: - Juris Doctor degree - At least 1 year legal experience - Bar membership in Georgia (membership in other states is a plus)
