Law Firm Seeks Experienced Associate Attorney for General Liability/Professional Liability Practice Group in San Diego, CA
Salary Range: $120,000 - $215,000 annually
Lagasse Branch Bell Kinkead LLP, a certified female-owned law firm, is currently seeking an experienced litigation associate for our general liability/professional liability practice group in our San Diego office. Our firm is dedicated to providing responsive, quality, and result-oriented services to our clients, and we are looking for a self-starter with excellent writing and oral advocacy skills to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in determining the best course of action for legal conflicts - Attend court hearings and perform legal research - Work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice - Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs - Communicate with partners, associates, and clients to ensure efficient handling of cases - Keep files organized and up-to-date for easy access by other attorneys and staff
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to serve client needs and grow our client base - Active involvement with the American Bar Association and good standing with the bar - Successful completion of the bar exam - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Minimum of 1850 billable hours
Compensation:
- Junior Associate: $120,000 - $160,000 (1-4 years of experience) - Mid-Level: $150,000 - $200,000 (3-7 years of experience) - Senior Associate: $180,000 - $215,000 (6 years of experience) - Senior Counsel: $180,000 - $215,000 - Law and Motion: $130,000 - $200,000 (4 years of experience)
