Job Title: General Liability Associate Attorney - Wilson Elser Law Firm
Department: General Liability
Location: Tyler, Texas
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Experience: 2 years of defense litigation experience
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school - Admitted to practice in the state of Texas - 2 years of defense litigation experience - Experience handling general liability, premises & product liability, transportation, property rights, employment litigation and insurance defense - Superior communication, writing, and research skills - Experience handling discovery and motions - Experience handling court appearances and depositions - Trial experience a plus - Legal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end - Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims - Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects - Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions - Communicate with clients and provide status reports
