Wilson Elser, a top-ranked defense litigation law firm, is seeking a highly motivated General Liability Associate Attorney to join our team in McLean, VA. Role and Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations - Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices - Independently manage a litigation caseload - Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school - Admitted to practice in Virginia - 5 years of defense litigation experience - Experience in insurance defense, general liability, or complex litigation preferred - Superior analytical, written, and oral communication skills - Experience with e-commerce or gig economy legal issues a plus
