Overview: - Full-service AmLaw 100 firm seeking attorney for General Liability Practice in Charleston, WV office - Ideal candidate has 1-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation and is admitted to the West Virginia Bar - Strong research and writing skills required - Practice comprised of over 600 attorneys nationwide with a successful track record in significant exposure cases - Specializes in defense for property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals - Partners and senior associates are seasoned trial attorneys with broad experience - Firm has received prominent recognition for obtaining top defense verdicts - Open to developing talented attorneys with litigation experience
Responsibilities: - Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery - Represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials - Work collaboratively with team members and clients
Qualifications: - 1-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation - Admission to the West Virginia Bar - Strong research and writing skills - Ability to handle a wide variety of matters and excel in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases
