Overview: - Paid summer internship opportunity at NJM Insurance in Trenton, NJ - Opportunity to work with General Claims legal team and gain valuable work experience - Second-year law students can sharpen research and writing skills while collaborating with legal team
Responsibilities: - Assist with legal research assignments and writing legal memoranda - Maintain General Claims Legal Index, a multi-state legal resource for property and casualty insurance related issues - Assist staff attorneys with various tasks and projects
Qualifications: - Completed second year of law school by summer - Minimum 3.0 GPA overall for undergraduate studies - Knowledge of insurance coverage and tort law - Previous legal work experience is a plus - Ability to multitask and work independently - Excellent interpersonal, research, and communication skills - Must be eligible to work in the United States - Must pass NJM pre-employment background check and drug test
