Law Firm Seeking Foreign Legal Consultant with Experience in Mexican Law
Katzakian Law P.C. in Santa Cruz, CA is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Foreign Legal Consultant to join our team. As a Foreign Legal Consultant, you will have the opportunity to advise American lawyers and clients on the laws of Mexico and how they apply to their legal matters. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in international transactions, taxation, and inheritance Mexican law to assist clients in navigating the complexities of cross-border legal issues.
Responsibilities: - Advise American lawyers and clients on the laws of Mexico and their application to legal matters - Provide advice on international legal transactions between Mexico and the US, including legal settlements and insurance claims - Offer guidance on gifts, inheritance, investment, and doing business in Mexico, including tax, acquisitions, and sales - Utilize your experience in international transactions, taxation, and inheritance Mexican law to provide expert counsel to clients - Stay updated on changes and developments in Mexican law to ensure accurate and current advice
Requirements: - Juris Doctor (JD) degree, licenciado, or equivalent in Law - Minimum of 24 months of experience in law - Strong understanding of international transactions, taxation, and inheritance Mexican law - Mexican Law License - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $82,160/year to $83,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
