THE DAVEY TREE COMPANY has opportunities in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a Flagger for a major electric utility operations. Davey is a leader in the tree care, utility line clearing and forestry consulting industries throughout the US and Canada.
DUTIES: The Utility Line Clearance Flagger provides support for the other crew members by controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods, supplying tools for tree care workers, cutting, chipping and loading brush and wood and proper job site cleanup.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
*High school diploma or equivalent preferred *Driver's license required. Commercial driver's license preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements *Ability to work 6 days a week when needed *Certificates and Licenses an necessary *Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines *ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time hourly position.
