ROLE: FIRST LINE OPERATIONAL RISK AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
LOCATION: 10 Molesworth Street / Remote Working
This role is being offered as a 12 month contract.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
*Will support the definition and implementation of a robust and consistent first-line control environment across Capital Markets Business Units by leading in developing the standards for managing key operational risk, compliance and conduct requirements. *Works well with stakeholders, including local business management team officials to support their local risk management activities and help them meet both regulatory expectations and AIB Group standards. *Has experience in compiling, analysing and interpreting management information on activity and performance for reporting to Senior Management on key risk and governance areas. *Can maintain strong working relationships with counterparts across business areas, the risk function and Group Internal Audit, ensuring that agreed risk initiatives are rolled out and embedded in a consistent way and that results are delivered effectively. *Is confident in their ability to form opinions on risk management practice and standards and to articulate them through reports and presentations to provide first line assurance to Senior Management.

Does this sound like something that you want to be part of?
YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN/HAVE:
*5 years financial experience within a wholesale, corporate or business banking environment or 5 years' experience within a governance function (such as first line governance and reporting; or independent first line assurance). *A relevant third level qualification, for example Institute of Bankers lending or compliance qualification; CIA qualification; ACCA; QFA; relevant wholesale, corporate or business banking qualifications. *Experience in a risk management discipline in a Financial Services environment (e.g. Operational Risk, Compliance, Conduct Risk, Internal Audit). *Initiative with a strong track record for attention to detail, completing tasks and reporting to a very high degree of accuracy. *Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships, particularly in a project management environment.
