ROLE TITLE: FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER, RETAIL BANKING
LOCATION: Hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin) and remote working
This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
As future focussed business partners our objective is to support the business in the development and delivery of AIB's strategic and financial objectives. We aim to provide ‘real time' support and analysis and to be trusted advisers, assisting the business in decision making.
A vacancy has arisen in the Retail Finance Business Partner team. This role focuses primarily on supporting the Wealth and the Financial Solutions Group ("FSG") units within the Retail bank. FSG is responsible for the management of Non Performing Exposures ("NPE") on a bankwide basis to deliver AIB's NPE reduction targets.
This role reports directly to Head of Finance Business Partners and is part of a wider Finance Business Partner team of 38.
THE KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
*Provide accurate, timely and insightful financial performance reporting and forecasting on an ongoing basis *Support the development of 3-year financial plans *Provide relevant insights and analysis on loan restructuring, portfolio sales, collections and flows to default to support the ongoing management of NPEs *Financial analysis of Wealth product offering and strategy *Liaise with the new life & pensions Joint Venture to monitor and understand financial performance and ensure appropriate reporting within the Retail Bank *Support cost management through planning & forecasting as well as active monitoring and reporting to help deliver the Bank's cost reduction targets *Provide financial support, review and reporting on investment funding and intangible assets within FSG and Wealth units *Support further development and provision of financial management Information *Build and maintain strong working relationships with Retail Business management (FSG and Wealth), within Finance and with other support areas, characterised by high levels of co-operation

*Qualified Accountant with minimum of 3 years' experience ideally in a finance, product, portfolio management or similar role *Proven business understanding and commercial acumen *The ability to analyse and interpret data, to assess its value and to present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way *Results driven individual with proven track record in performance management and problem solving *Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
