This is a full-time position that provides clerical and administrative support to attorneys, legal secretaries, and paralegals. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with critical thinking skills to join our fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain, organize, and index all case files for attorneys • File correspondence, pleadings, and other documentation accurately and timely • Retrieve information from files in response to requests • Keep records of filed or removed materials • Inspect materials periodically to ensure proper placement and condition • Store materials in designated receptacles • Scan or read incoming materials to determine classification • Purge and box closed files for storage • Perform general office duties and operate office machines • Other related job duties as required
Requirements:
• 1 years of experience as a file or administrative clerk (law firm or professional services experience preferred) • Familiarity with office technology • Critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting • Bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds • Regularly seeing, talking, and hearing
