Law Firm Seeking Experienced Family Lawyer
Peace Legal, a reputable and growing law firm located near Barnsley, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Family Lawyer to join our established family team. We are dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to clients in South Yorkshire and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a caseload of family law matters, including private law children matters, injunctions, divorce, and financial settlements • Utilize knowledge of legal aid to assist clients with their cases • Possess advocacy experience and familiarity with the Legal Aid Agency CCMS system/HMCTS portal (preferred but not essential) • Provide support and guidance to senior colleagues and support staff • Offer training and potential for internal career progression to employees • Maintain a supportive and inclusive work environment • Handle both full-time and part-time work schedules
Qualifications and Experience:
• FILEX/CILEX or qualified solicitor with experience in family law • Strong knowledge of legal aid and its processes • Familiarity with the Legal Aid Agency CCMS system/HMCTS portal (preferred but not essential) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively • Familiarity with the Dearne Valley area (preferred but not essential)
