Responsibilities & Tasks:
As a Family Law Attorney at Gawthrop, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conducting client consultations and onboarding new clients - Providing representation for clients in family law matters such as divorce, support, custody, and adoptions - Attending hearings, court appearances, and conferences - Representing clients during trials and other court proceedings - Drafting legal documents and updating clients on case status - Coordinating cases with court personnel, witnesses, and experts
Minimum Criteria for Eligibility:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- J.D. and bar admission in Pennsylvania (New Jersey or Delaware, a plus) - 7 years' of legal practice focused on Family Law - Experience in marketing legal practice and originating new clients - Ability to work independently and on a team - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task - Proficient with Microsoft Office products
