About the Role
We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a proven track record in New York divorce litigation. In this role, you will:
Independently Manage Cases
Oversee a full caseload of complex divorce, custody, and financial disputes from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
Lead Litigation & Negotiation
Appear in court, argue motions, conduct depositions, and leverage advanced negotiation tactics to secure optimal outcomes.
Client Advocacy & Relationship Building
Serve as the primary legal strategist for your clients, maintaining open communication and setting realistic expectations throughout the divorce process.
Strategic Firm Growth
Contribute to the firm’s continued expansion by enhancing our reputation in the family law community, and by helping build client and referral networks.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active New York State Bar membership in good standing. 5 years of hands-on family law/divorce litigation experience in New York. Demonstrated courtroom proficiency, including trials or high-level motion practice. Excellent client-management skills, with the ability to handle emotionally charged situations effectively.
