We are a well-respected law firm with 6 offices across North Carolina and South Carolina, and we specialize in family law. Our practice areas also include trusts and estates, corporate, real estate, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior attorneys in handling cases involving child custody, child support, divorce, domestic violence, and other delicate family law issues. - Independently handle some cases. - Provide exceptional legal representation and fight for the best outcome for clients. - Actively participate in internal initiatives and the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** culture. - Maintain professionalism while showing empathy to all clients.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar. - 1-2 years (or more) experience working in a law firm, preferably in family law. - Passion for practicing family law. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-stress and emotional situations. - Ability to think creatively and outside of the box. - Organized, energetic, and self-motivated. - Problem solver with the ability to identify solutions. - Active member of the community (Gaston, Cleveland, and Lincoln County involvement is a plus).
