JOB OVERVIEW **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program is searching for a full-time Educator Track faculty member who will contribute to the department's teaching, service, and research missions. This is a 12-month position with rank and faculty track commensurate with education and experience.
The UC MHA program offers a two-year program designed primarily for working adults using an asynchronous distance learning approach. Faculty in the program are drawn from the College of Allied Health Sciences, the College of Business, and adjunct faculty working in the fields of health administration, law, and public health. The program enrolled its first students in 2011 and has over 600 graduates. In addition to the degree program, the MHA program offers four certificates in health care in the areas of administration, finance, operations, and policy and regulation. The College of Allied Health Sciences has won the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine in 2019. Teaching and service responsibilities include, but are not limited to, course development and curriculum assessment; primary instruction of didactic courses using online delivery modalities; leadership with and mentoring of adjunct faculty; student advising and mentoring, including research mentoring; service on program committees; and other tasks as assigned. While online teaching and service are central to this position, scholarship activities are also required consistent with the mission of the program and the University.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *Doctorate in health administration, public health, or related discipline
