Job Description
The San Diego office of Lozano Smith, a premier public agency law firm in California, is currently seeking a Facilities & Business Attorney. The ideal candidate will have related experience and a strong interest in supporting school districts and public agencies in the areas of business, construction, development, and real property. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a minimum of 2 years of practicing experience, preferably with a focus on public agency and school district matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on matters related to public agency and education law - Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents - Collaborate with clients and provide strategic guidance on legal issues - Stay current on legal developments and provide training to clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school - Active member of the California State Bar - Minimum of 2 years of practicing experience, preferably with a focus on public agency and school district matters - Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - Knowledge of California public agency and education laws
