Job Title: Experienced Manager / Director, Global Transaction Tax (International Transaction Tax) Salary: $145,000 - $200,000 annually
A&M is seeking an experienced Manager or Director with international tax expertise to join their growing International Tax M&A practice. In this role, the individual will work closely with experienced partners, senior directors, and teams in the United States and globally to provide expert advice on complex international tax matters and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of US international tax and a desire to solve complex tax issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform due diligence, review tax returns and financials, and identify potential international tax risks and opportunities for clients. - Review and comment on US international tax aspects of financial models and purchase agreements. - Coordinate with other tax team members to deliver high-quality work product. - Provide expert advice on deal structures, financing arrangements, and other international tax implications. - Assist with global tax restructuring and planning initiatives. - Stay up-to-date on developments in US international tax and contribute to thought leadership initiatives. - Build relationships with clients and across the Tax department at A&M.
Requirements:
- CPA, JD (with bachelor's degree in accounting), or LLM required. - At least 6 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 firm, Big Law firm, or similar firm, with at least 3 years of experience in US international tax. - Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
