Experienced Family Law Attorney - Join the Team at The Henry Law Firm
The Henry Law Firm, a reputable and established law firm, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney to work with a highly-regarded firm and make a positive impact in the lives of clients.
Job Title: Experienced Family Law Attorney Department: Family Law Practice Group Location: Kansas or Missouri (both preferred) Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Responsibilities: - Handle domestic/family law matters from initial consultation through trial - Research, analyze, and develop case information, evidence, settlement options, and strategies - Manage cases and support staff, including maintaining organized files, preparing exhibits and trial materials, monitoring deadlines, and communicating regularly with supervising attorney, client, and support staff - Participate in networking functions to develop individual and firm practice areas - Manage individual case load, collaborate with domestic practice group on shared matters, and develop and grow individual practice
Qualifications: - 5 years of experience in domestic/family law practice - Licensed to practice law in Kansas or Missouri (both preferred) - Strong communication and analytical skills - Committed to providing excellent client service - Willingness to travel for court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related engagements - Undergraduate and J.D. required
Skills: - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks using superior time management and decision-making skills - Excellent case management skills, including prompt and regular communication with clients, parties, court personnel, and internal support staff - Proficiency with common office equipment and applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Internet Explorer, and TABS3 - Good oral and written communication skills - Ability to develop strong client relationships (internal and external) - Team player with strong collaboration skills - Self-directed, resourceful, adaptable, and energetic with a strong initiative
